In the late months of 2005 we decided that we wanted a dog, so we took to the internet and did a lot of informational searching. We had no idea what kind of dog we wanted, but knew that it had to be a smaller breed, as we don't have a lot of property for the dog to run and we live in a townhouse. After months of research, we decided on a cairn terrier. We again took to the internet for breeders, but found there was nothing within a 100 mile radius, but started contacting the closest ones that were listed. I contacted 13 different breeders and was most impressed with Bobby Jo and Tim, as they were willing to answer all of my questions and also supplied pictures of the puppies available. They offered us the opportunity to come to meet the puppies to help with the decision making, but upon seeing the picture of one of the available puppies, we made an immediate decision to purchase him before anyone else could claim him. The process of deposit, contract and payment was smooth and well organized. They sent new pictures of our new puppy every week until we picked him up. They met us half way between our home and theirs (which was a 2 hour drive for them) and it was instant love upon seeing our pup. He was in perfect health and has been a joy since the start. We named him after my favorite actor, Morgan Freeman, and he presents himself almost as well as his namesake!
About 5 months after acquiring Morgan, we decided that he needed a playmate. I contacted Bobbi Jo and Tim and asked about adding another dog...if it would cause a problem for Morgan...if there would be a jealousy problem. They were very patient with me and answered all of my questions and provided more pictures as they had more litters. Again, we fell in love with one of the pups and picked him up 4 weeks ago! Our lives will never be the same! Captain Jack Sparrow has taken over the ship and Morgan is now First Mate! Morgan has become the protecive big brother and keeps Jack in line and out of danger, but allows himself to be Jack's chew toy! The joy these dogs have brought to our lives is beyond compare.
We recommend Bobbi Jo and Tim to anyone and everyone that mentions that they are thinking about acquiring a dog. To us, there are no finer breeders. Both of our dogs are healthy and have great dispositions. They are obviously from good blood lines and a loving home.
Our best to you and you never know when I will be e-mailing you for more pictures!

Hi Tim and Bobbi Jo! I thought I would update you on the status of our new guy! He took to us very well! We decided to name him Scooter, which fits him very well. He runs everywhere! We are always chasing after him! He has grown a little since we got him, but is still so adorable! Everywhere we go wih him everyone wants to pet or hold him! He is our star!
Thanks so much for everything! We will be in touch!

Hi Tim and Bobbi Jo,
Just a MacGavin update....He is doing really well. We had him neutered about a month ago and microchipped at the same time. He has had no problems with either. He just graduated from an 8 week foundation course to become a therapy dog. He was very well behaved during the entire 8 weeks and the trainer has named him "Prince MacGavin". She says that the basic training exercises seem to be a natural to him.
He has several more classes to complete before he will be ready to take the exam to be registered with Therapy Dog International. Once he is registered, then he and I will volunteer our time to nursing homes and hospitals. I am also checking into some agility equipment. I think that he would be outstanding with that too. It is hilarious to watch him in the backyard on his wind up mode.
I have attached some pictures! He looks a bit dirty in one of them.....he was on wind up mode in the backyard (because I was chasing him to get that stick out of his mouth).
Enjoy the fruits of your labor! I'll keep in touch!

Tim/Bobbi Jo Powell,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for providing us with our baby girl! (Our Cairn Kimber Ann) I can’t believe that she is one year old all ready. She is healthy and happy and 15 pounds already! I am sending you some pictures of her with her big brother. Her brother’s name is Dorian, he is a Lab-Great-Dane mix .He is 120 pounds. Kimber loves him to death and finds him quite comfortable as you will see.
When I am ready to adopt another Cairn, I will definitely call on you two very caring people.
Thank you for this furry little blessing!

After doing vast research on Cairn terriers, I came upon PPFFarmsKennel.com. Their website was very informative and also entertaining, showcasing beautiful Westies and Cairns. So, I emailed Bobbi Jo and Tim to inquire about a female Cairn. Literally within an hour, I had a response. They had one female Cairn in the litter along with 4 males, and she sent me a picture as well. I immediately fell in love with the puppy and just knew she was mine. I put a deposit on her immediately through PayPal. She was my new little girl. This was my 40th birthday present and we found her the day before my birthday. Bobbi Jo continued to email me for the next 6 weeks, responding to all of my numerous (and I mean numerous!!) inquiries, providing valuable insight along with weekly pictures of our new puppy, now named Marley, as she continued to grow. We then met Bobbi Jo and Tim on October 15th to pick up Marley. She has been an absolute joy and treasure in our lives. Bobbi Jo also continues to correspond with me to check on Marley and answer my ongoing questions, even though she certainly has no obligation, but I know it's because of the love and devotion that both she and Tim have for their animals and the dedication that she has to top quality purebreed terriers. If you want a gorgeous purebred terrier, whether it be Westie or Cairn, look no further than Bobbi Jo and Tim Powell. They are so knowledgeable and so helpful, I can't imagine ever getting another terrier from anyone other than The Powell's.

After talking to many breeders, we knew that PPF Farms Kennel was where we wanted to get our cairn puppy. Bobbi Jo was great! We were on vacation when we received a call from Bobbi Jo informing us that the new litter of pups was born. She emailed us pictures right away and we went to the local library to view the pictures and pick out our pup, Penny. This was the highlight of our vacation. Bobbi Jo sent us weekly pictures of our Penny as she grew. It seemed like the longest nine weeks of our lives as we waited to bring Penny home. She is an absolute JOY!! She is a great addition to our family. Naturally our daughter, Abigail, decided to be Dorothy for Halloween since she had Penny to play Toto. We love Penny so much! We will recommend PPF Farms Kennel to anyone who is interested in a cairn terrier! Thank you so much Bobbi Jo and Tim.
Love,
John, Lori, and Abby Rodgers
Where do I start this testimonial, let me see. On February 14, 1987, my husband bought me my first cairn terrier and we named her Buttons. On April 3, 1989, Buttons had a litter of puppies and we kept one male and named him Hoover. I was very particular on the care and feeding of my puppies and was very particular on who could adopt them. On June 28, 2006 at the ripe old age of 17 years, 2 months, and 25 days, Hoover passed away quietly. I was devastated at the loss and figured that it would take me a while before I could even consider getting a new furry family member.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2006, I decided that I couldn't wait any longer and went to the Cairn Terrier Rescue website to see what I could fine in my area. There was nothing available in my area, but I found Bobbi Jo and Tim Powell's website about their kennel and was shocked to find someone who was breeding and raising puppies in the exact same manner as I did way back when. I decided after reading everything about them that I would send them an email and see what happened. It was late in the day and I figured it would take them a few days to get back to me but the next morning, I just had to check my email just in case. There was a very nice condolence message from Bobbi Jo regarding my Hoover, and a picture of my new "baby". I cried when his picture came on the screen because he was just what I needed to see at 5:30 a.m. that day. I email her back immediately about the adorable "baby" she had for adoption and after answering my questions about his parents, I told her that I was naming the baby "Toby" and would send my depostit that day.
From July 19, 2006 on, Bobbi Jo sent emails letting me know how "Toby" was doing and on Monday, August 14, 2006, I drove 2 and a half hours from my home to pick up my little "Toby." Bobbi Jo and I got out of our vehicles and were introducing ourselves and she said "Toby, here's your new mommy" and handed him to me. "Toby" gave me the most licky kisses ever and once again, life was complete. "Toby" knew that he was going to be alright from that moment on because he never whined or cried on the way home. He just rode in the car like he knew what he was doing. Once we got home, he met the rest of the family and has been the best puppy ever. He is housebroken and is learning a few commands such as come, sit, and stay and loves going for walks. Every night after dinner, its' lap time.
Our friends and neighbors who have met "Toby" can't believe how well behaved, after all, he is only 4 1/2 months old. I have told all of them that Bobbi Jo and her family must really love what they do because they have given us a healthy, happy, well adjusted puppy that was ready to go out on his own. That's how we raised and cared for our puppies many years ago and that's what shows in "Toby." Bobbi Jo still emails ever so often for a "Toby" update and I love that she still cares about him. You can't ask for a better person to get a puppy from and have told several friends that if they ever decide to get a dog, talk to Bobbi Jo.
My email address is hooverbear@comcast.net if you want to hear more praises of Bobbi Jo Powell and her family.

What a stroke of luck when I discovered The Powell’s web site! I had been without the companionship of a dog for about four years when I discovered the Westies on the Powell web site. I did some research on the West Highland White Terrier and was immediately hooked. All my previous dogs had been mixed breeds and I really wasn’t looking for a dog with papers but decided to contact Bobbi for additional information. My email was promptly answered detailing the cost and information about owning a Westie. Because no females were available, I had to wait for the next litter and when the litter arrived in July, Bobbi contacted me and the only female of the litter became my Lizzie Nell. I received weekly progress pictures of Lizzie and updates until I could pick her up at nine weeks. Bobbi and Tim were always willing to accommodate our visit requests and for pick up. After a week of adjustment by all at our house, Lizzie settled into her new home and became the social debutant of our neighbors, friends and office. She definitely is spirited and a tad head strong but absolutely adorable. At four months, she is fairly well housebroken, very friendly, healthy and quite entertaining. I would recommend the Powell’s as excellent business partners who are knowledgeable, caring breeders who treat their dogs as a hobby and not a business. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding PPF Farm Kennel. Sincerely, Sandi Gillette
How are you doing? First let me tell you Kayla is doing very well. I can hardly believe it has been (8) months since we picked her up. I apologize for not getting in touch with you sooner to let you know how things were going. We were always intending to send pictures & tell you how she was doing.
It did not take any time at all for Kayla to become a member of the family. I did not know how much we were missing out by not having a Westie in the household. She is so sweet, loving, & energetic...very vocal & demanding at times too! Kayla & our other dog, Chessa, have a lot of fun playing together. It is very comical watching how Kayla teases the much bigger & older companion. I told Leslee the other day that I have not smiled and laughed more than at any other time in my life since Kayla came to stay. Well, take care...maybe we will be in touch for another Westie at some yet to be determined time in the future.
Sincerely,
Rich Rice Shortsville, NY
Good evening. It's been several months since Maisy has come to join our family. We just wanted to send a brief note to let you know she is doing great. Since the very first day home with us, she has adjusted to her new home and loves it. She thinks our older Westie is her mom, and I think that is what helped her adjust so well. Of Course our 15 year old Westie, Mitzi, really does not want anything to do with her. She is getting too old and really is not doing well lately.
Maisy was just spayed a few days ago and acts as though nothing happened. She is a ball of energy for sure. She loves playing with all of her toys and with each member of the family, and often takes refuge under our big TV armiour. We have grown quite attached to her, and love her dearly. She is going to be a real blessing when it comes time to say good-bye to our older Westie, which may not be too far off now.
We meant to send you a brief note so many times over the past few months, but unfortunately, the summer got away from us rather quickly, and the fall to. Anyway, Maisy loves her new home, and we are thrilled with her. Thank you very much for bringing us together. I've attached a couple of pictures I just took a few minutes ago so you can see how she has grown and how adorable she is. The vet says she is in great shape and had excellent muscle tone for her age.
Thank you! The Ford's
Our experience with Bobbi Jo and Tim was nothing short of wonderful. We contacted them via email to inquire about their Cairn Terriers. They emailed us back the very same day with pictures of their available pups and answers to almost all of the questions we would have asked. We ended up choosing a male Cairn and immediately fell in love with him. Within the week we had decided on the perfect name for him--Mason. From that point on, Bobbi Jo and Tim called him by his name and sent us weekly pictures of him. We were so excited and eager to meet Mason face to face and to bring him home. Tim and Bobbi Jo were nice enough to meet us half way between their farm and our home in Philadelphia. From the second we saw him until this very minute, he has been an absolutely wonderful addition to our home. He has such a little personality and is definitely smarter than the average dog! Mason is full of energy and spunk during the day and very cuddly later in the evening. He is playful with both the neighborhood dogs and children and never shows aggression toward them. Mason is now 7 months old and is almost completely potty trained. We really could not have asked for a better dog. Thank you Tim and Bobbi Jo for doing such a wonderful job and for giving such a fun furry little friend!

Hi Tim & Bobbi Jo,
My wife, son and I would like to thank Tim and Bobbi Jo for the new addition to our family. It all started around 7 months ago when we decided to get another Cairn. We contacted a couple of local breeders here in Connecticut but they didn't have any puppies. That's when the search began to find a breeder, a good honest and ethical breeder (not an easy task). I literally researched well over one hundred Cairn breeders and the one thing that made me look further into the Powell's was the simple fact that they posted the Pennsylvania Dog Purchaser Protection Act right on their website. A simple thing I took to mean that they were honest and upfront. I contacted Bobbi Jo and she sent us pictures of the latest litter. We picked a pup and Bobbi Jo sent new pictures every 3 or 4 days. I even stopped by the farm while on a business trip and spent time with Bobbi Jo getting to know our new pup and his family. I was impressed by the clean conditions at the farm and could tell that Tim and Bobbi Jo love their animals. Indianna is now a regular member of our family and we are extremely pleased with him, he is everything a Cairn Terrier should be. I would reccomend Tim and Bobbi Jo to anyone who loves Cairn Terriers, if you would like more information please contact by email at: d_pelletier@sbcglobal.net.
Regards, The Pelletier Family
I HIGHLY recommend adopting a dog from the Powell's! I received Rocco back in May and he is just too cute! After a lot of research and thinking, I decided he needed a little buddy! I told myself that if the Powell's had puppies for sale I would purchase Rocco a little playmate. We welcomed Spike to our home this fall! My local vet has remarked on how well the dogs were taken care of and if anything, the Powell's went above their duty on vet visits and shots! I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for my two little guys!!

Hi Tim and Bobbi Jo,
We searched all of Ontario for Westie breeders and my subsequent searches led me to the Powells. The ease of communication and the obvious enthusiasm they have for their puppies sold us and we drove from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada to pick up our puppy.
Needless to say we have been thrilled with this addition to our family. She keeps us hopping, outsmarts us and certainly makes life better for us. She is 9 months old now and weighs about 13 lbs. She is quite the rascal but was easily trained and has a great desire to please us....most of the time on her terms...lol.
I am proud to recommend the Powells as breeders of healthy Westies and in addition, tremendous people to do business with. An enjoyable transaction from beginning to end. If there are any more questions I can answer I would be most happy to do so....especially to my Canadian friends looking for a Westie or Cairn.
Thanks Tim and Bobbi Jo....we couldn't be happier.
Best regards,
Paul and Deb
Tim and Bobbi Jo,
I've been meaning to give you an update on our Bella, but time has just been flying by. She's a little over 9 months old now and only one word can describe her *AWESOME*. When you said you breed for temperament you really did mean it! She truly is the most laid back easy going-get-along-with-everyone-and-everything kind of dog. But on the other hand, it's amazing how protective she can be and somehow instinctively knows the difference between the good/bad guy.
She has been easy to train with of course, the occasional Westie look of "what's in it for me if I do this trick?" As you can see from the pictures, she even reads and has completed courses in computer programming..(okay so maybe I'm stretching it a bit)...
She's brought absolute joy and entertainment to our family and we shout out a THANK YOU!
Christine M. Milford Pennsylvania
Dear Bobbi Jo and Tim,
Words could not express the heartfelt gratitude I have in my heart for both of you. While we all seek success in our chosen vocations, you both bring the thoughtfulness and generosity of spirit as breeders that is immeasurable.
I was truly grieving over the loss of my beloved Cairn, Chloe, when I came across your website. I was lucky to have a close friend contact you and arrange for us to get together! While I didn’t think I was ready for this commitment, one call from you and I was not only on the road to healing, but on a journey that only those of us lucky enough to have Cairns and Westies can understand.
Here’s the thing. Expectations are met by numerous breeders, but you are world class. Many people can create great facilities, and raise healthy puppies, but only you two bring to this experience the joy and genuine caring that makes the connection magical.
You put me in touch with so many wonderful people who have purchased puppies from you and truly love you both. Here again, not only did you help me through a tough time, but so did your extended family.
So after much research I decided I needed two little Westies to keep each other company!
Angel and Sophie are so amazing…they are the hit of the neighborhood and their antics are truly hilarious! At 7 months, they are as willful and strong minded as only Westies are, but they possess the sweetness and affection that makes all the hard work worthwhile!
The only mistake I made is that I should have named them Fric and Frac, and oh did I mention their top 2 food groups: plaster and wood!!!!!
You enhance the lives of all you touch, and we are blessed. There is total joy in this house! Sharon B.
Tim & Bobbi Jo,
Just wanted to let you know that all is well with Harrison up here in Erie, PA. He seems to have adapted really well. We are absolutely in love with him. He's so personable and full of energy and curious. We certainly can't turn our back on him or he's off and running through the house. He's started to get a little bigger and stronger. He can run up the stairs but he's still afraid to try walking down them. Thanks again. We're very happy to have selected you as the breeder and we're very happy with Harrison. He is everything Anne & I wanted in our first dog together.
Sincerely,
Brian T.
Hi Bobbi Jo -
Just wanted to let you know that Snowy Chalef has been with us now for 3 full weeks and everything is going wonderfully. We took Snowy for his first vet appointment on Saturday and the vet said he was in excellent health. All the staff members at the office were just going nuts for him. I can't tell you how happy we are with him. As you can see from the attached picture, my daughter, Stephanie is already in love with Snowy. She is so happy. Her step-sister Erin also loves Snowy and loves to sit and watch television with Snowy on her lap while she pets him behind his ears (which he loves). Ever since we brought Snowy home, he has been a pleasure.
He took to his wee-wee pad right away and bonded immediately with our 2 year old beagle, in fact, if there is an "alpha" dog in the house, it's Snowy. At currently 11 weeks old, he has no fear of his "big brother" Hickory and in fact loves to chase her around the house and pounce. When they both get tired, they jumped up on the sofa and both laid next to each other for a while until they wanted their own space and one took one end of the sofa and the other on the other end. Snowy already knows his name and is learning what the tones of our voices mean. We constantly praise him when he does right, and when we see him being a little mischievous, we look at him and change the tone a bit, and he knows exactly what we mean.
We had our first real snowfall the other day (very late in the season for our first), and Snowy just stood by our back door taking it all in. Thank you so much for all your help. Like I told you when we met, we spoke to other breeders and pet adoption facilities, but none made us feel as good and confident as you did. You were there every step of the way for us and both asked and answered questions that others may have thought we should already have known, but you took the time to return each e-mail and answer every question and my family really appreciates that. We will definitely be recommending you to our friends and family who are looking for a Westie or Carin as we know from experience how much time, energy and love you giveyour pups. It's not something that is seen everyday and shows what kind of special people you are. We have to remember, we were referred to you by my wife's brother and sister-in-law after they adopted one Westie and one Carin from you about 6 months ago. It was also so nice that on the day we picked up Snowy from you, you drove 2 hours to meet us. We drove about 3 hours and I can't tell you how much we appreciated it. That was going way above and beyond the call of duty, but from what we've seen, going above and beyond is something you do very willingly and quite often. We would be happy to be used as references for anyone looking to get a puppy from you. I've owned dogs my whole life, but never, ever had such a pleasant experience as we did with you.
Thank you so much, again....from the entire family... Elliot / Donna / Stephanie and Erin!
Bobbi Jo and Tim;
I, excuse me we, can't begin to tell you two, how much we appreciate all you've done for us, helping to bring so much pleasure and love to our family.
Around Christmas, after five long years of trying to talk my wife into getting a dog, she started to change her attitude a wee bit. Noticing this I started looking into adopting a puppy, I looked at Scottish Terrier's, Cairn Terrier's, all the time wanting a white, small, adorable puppy. My sister in-law has a Cairn, about a year old, and they love him. She suggested to me, that since I wanted a white pup, I should look into the Westies, right away I typed up West Highland White Terrier's on my computer, there they were as cute as can be. I called my wife over to look at what I wanted to buy, the first word out of her mouth was o' how cute. I'm cruising now, with PPF Farms in the picture it looked very easy. We looked up around ten or eleven breeders and after endless hours of reading I put stars next to the breeder, one thru four, the only four star breeder I ended up with was PPF, with all the help that Bobbi-Jo gave me, I was thoroughly convinced that this was the way to go.
I wanted a Westie, and I wanted her to come from Tim and Bobbi Jo, The rest was easy, as far as I was concerned, I knew Bobbi Jo's hands were full, sending photo updates, letters telling us how our pup was doing. I, after reading everything about Bobbi Jo's family, (large as it was) of Westies and Cairn Terriers asked, and trusted Bobbi Jo to pick Angel out for me, she sent me pictures of Angel's brother, and sister, and of course my prized puppy, Angel. Now all I had to do was wait, three very long weeks. We live in northern Virginia, but I'm from Philadelphia, and I've never been up to Punxsutawney, the date we picked that was good for us and the Powell's, was February 3rd. groundhog day week.
A week went by, and as the time got closer, after we selected our Vet, or Angel's vet, everything was coming together beautifully, I got this idea, that since the pup's were due to be released to their new parents January 28th, why should I wait to take our road trip. I talked to my wife, then to Bobbi Jo, and that was fine with both of them although we would miss Feb 2nd, groundhog day, my psyche was to get started in our new lifestyle. and as much as I liked visiting Punxsy, I'd rather see what I've waited five years for. I will never regret it. The Powell's were so much help, I'm hoping, after we train Angel fully, about a year from now, I'm going to Punxsy, to adopt either, another Westie, or maybe for the fun and excitement, a Cairn for Angel to teach all her tricks to. If I or any of my friends or family, are looking to adopt a Westie or a Cairn, or even a Cow for that matter, the Powell's at PPF Farms in Punxsutawney Pa, are by far the best way to go. I've trusted them to pick, wean, and sell me a puppy who is very well socialized, very smart, and has become a very important part of our family. I'm retired, my wife still has several years to go and Angel has become my companion and friend and God knows that if anything ever happened to her, in our short time together, (two weeks) I'd be lost. I will never forget Tim and Bobbi Jo, and that snowy trip to Punxsutawney to get what I think, KNOW, will be in our mind, the best move we ever made. Thank You
If you're interested in adopting a Puppy from PPF Farms your welcome to contact us for any information about Tim and Bobbi Jo Powell You may contact us at: rich-pam@comcast.net
Hi Bobbi Jo,
Just thought I'd drop you a line and tell you how BELLA is doing.Had her to the Vets and she's healthy as a horse! She is adjusting nicely to our home and we love her. She now weighs 6.3 lbs. We are amazed at how smart she is.(potty training is going very well). She already goes to the door, rings the bell and sits down and cries to go out! Only thing is that now she wants to go out all the time to just play, so that bell gets rung plenty! Wanted to let you know that she seems very happy and so are we. Thank you, The Chupkas
Hi Tim and Bobbi Jo,
I thought it was time we let you know how pleased we are with our puppy. We had her to our Vet about two weeks ago and he declared her one healthy puppy. We named her Molly (Pauline did). She is a ball of energy, nosey and very intelligent. We are attaching a photo we took today. Thanks for everything.
Ed and Pauline
Having done all our homework in researching the breed and everything we could ever read about the “the best little dog”, we set out to narrow down to the one Cairn Terrier breeder we could trust and found the PPF Farms Kennel to be the stork who would bring us the new member of our family. Bobbi Jo started sending me great digital pictures of available litters with detailed information on each of the puppies. It was easy picking out Opie from all his littermates – every puppy was so precious with the cuteness that just melts your hearts, but I saw the adorable markings on Opie and just fell in love with him.
My continuous e-mail correspondence with Bobbi Jo were filled with questions any responsible dog owner or soon-to-be dog owner would have for their breeders, and Bobbi Jo’s thoughtfulness in answering them showed her excellent commitment to breeding her AKC puppies, also her expert knowledge about the breed.
We had arranged to pick up our little guy by meeting at the midpoint, and drove a little over two hours from NJ to PA to meet Bobbi Jo and Tim. The moment we saw Opie, or should I say the moment Opie locked his puppy eyes with us, we were a family! My boyfriend likes to think that by acting like a tough guy also means he would be resistant to the effects puppies have to people, and boy was he already drowning in all the cuteness and completely helpless in Opies kisses! Bobbi Jo handed us a comprehensive packet with AKC registration and breed information, health record and guarantee, plus a starter bag of Eukanuba puppy food. My boyfriend handed me Opie so that he could regain some composure to drive us home.
The rest is history. He is the most intelligent, funny (yes, he is quite a comedian), and loving dog I’ve ever owned! We have a cat, Oliver, who’s about two years older than Opie, and they’re now inseparable (although Oliver may state otherwise, as I’m sure he finds it hard to get some alone, dignifying cat time from Opie). Opie is only 8-months now, but he’s already learned more than a handful of tricks. He loves to roam in our backyard and we often find him doing some very poetic things, such as looking up at the sky to reflect on his happiness, and learning to bark like a big boy ... LOL!
He sticks to us like glue, and loves to take quick rides to his favorite neighborhood store, Petco. Our family loves him and everyone who’s ever been exposed to his unconditional love and witty disposition immediately falls in love with him. Our lives are filled with tremendous love and joy because of Opie, and we have plans on getting him started on agility training so he can enjoy his doggie career and love for being a shooting bullet.
I recommend potential owners to take the responsibility in becoming educated about the breed and selecting a breeder who is experienced, knowledgeable, and pro-active in prevailing in the breeding space, where puppy mills run rampant with their cruel and illegal operations. And if you’re lucky and live nearby, you can talk to Bobbi Jo and find yourself an awesome Cairn Terrier puppy!
Best, Opie’s mommy
Hi Tim and Bobbi Jo,
Just wanted to let you know that Sullivan (Sully) is settling in just fine. He is adorable! The girls love him. My four year old said he is the bestest puppy ever. I am impressed already with his disposition. He is playful but calm. He seems to really like kids. We gave him three toys that he drags into his crate. He was a little restless last night but my husband sat by the crate with the door open until he went to sleep and he slept until 5:30 AM. Thank you for everything. It has been a real pleasure dealing with both of you. Paige and Allie are already thinking Sully needs some company...I am not certain of that just yet, but I am certain I would purchase another puppy from you anytime. I will keep you posted. Thanks again.
Regina
I sincerely can not thank you enough for our little one! We just absolutely adore her! We named her Isabella, which goes perfectly with her cute and spunky personality! We love her so much! She has gone for two vet visits so far and is in perfect health! She has been very easy to train so far, except with the crate which is probably because she is a little spoiled from us I will have to admitt. I want to thank you again for how helpful you were, you two were great! We will keep you posted as our little Isabella gets bigger and we will send you pictures. Thank you so much and the best of luck to you and all of your dogs and puppies!
Kate and Mike
I just wanted to thank you again for raising our little puppy and delivering her halfway yesterday. We wanted you to know that she is doing great and everyone is madly in love with her.
She had a very eventful day yesterday and handled it great. We had to go into school so we carried her into one class and she was great, then she met a ton of people on the way out. After school, we had four additional kids over and so all six played with her. At least one will be putting pressure on his parents for a dog just like her. She took several catnaps and ate a little during the day and then in the evening ate a good dinner. Both kids wanted to sleep with her so we put the kennel up in one room and she whined for a few minutes so my son decided to sleep on the floor. In very short order he was able to move to the bed. My daughter woke me up at 5 because she was whining and she was ready to play hard for a good hour and a half, then passed out again and has been playing /sleeping alternately the rest of the morning.
Thanks again. It was my son's suggestion that we send you pictures every once in a while like you sent us, so we will show you how she is progressing.

Dear PPF Farms:
We bought Parker from Tim and Bobbie Jo in March of 2006. He was very healthy and ready to play. His personality is great and gentle. I will tell you he is with our four kids and loves to play with and torture them. Buying Parker was one of the best decisions we have made, we researched and researched dogs. After all the horror stories of people getting ripped off buying animals over the internet we were a bit scared to do it, but once the emails started between us and Powells we soon felt very good about it. We received a great pet and a great friend when we bought Parker.
Thank you Tim and Bobbie Jo.
Bobbi Jo & Tim,
We just wanted to thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for our little Bundle of Joy “ZOEY”. Our Brittany spaniel of 14 years passed in May of 2006; it took us about 6 months to finalize realise what we were missing in our home...a little puppy. Our children Breanna (age 9) & Erik (age 8) kept bugging us for a new puppy. I looked in newspapers, I looked on-line. But the thing that sold me was your informative web- site, your prompt response to all my emails and the weekly contact with pictures of Zoey you sent us every week as she grew up to her 8 weeks of age. I’ve never had a “westie” before, so this was sort of a new experience for us. We wanted to get our daughter the birthday present of her dreams—a Puppy! Someone once told me that westie’s are not for children…WRONG! They are especially for children. Our little westie has been around children ages 4 and up, she just LOVES them. She plays with them all the time. If one of the kids are in our yard, or in our house, you better believe that our Westie—Zoey is right there beside them. She is so friendly, just wanting to be loved and played with, just like the kids.
Now that we’ve had Zoey for almost a year now, it’s kind of hard to image life without her. She is just so adorable and loving. We had her house broken in about 2 weeks. Now she gets the run of the house all day long (up to 9 hours) and she doesn’t chew anything or make any mess’s. She is very well behaved. One of the easiest dogs I’ve ever trained. We live on an acre lot, my husband put in an in-ground security doggie fence for her. She has the run of the yard too. We play soccer with Zoey. Boy is she good. Zoey loves when we throw tennis balls for her, she is so Fast! Even the kids can’t catch her. After an evening of outside playing, Zoey cuddles up right next to me on the bed. When it gets cold out, she curls up on my pillow and sleeps too. She has the most pleasant personality I've ever seen in a dog. She can be anywhere in the house or yard and if you say "Zoey-Zoey-Zoey!" She comes running up to you so fast, puts her ears back and wants to kiss you. What better way to be greeted after a hard days work.
A Westie Lover I’ve became! My daughter and son have what they’ve always wanted…Man’s Best Friend and for us her name is ZOEY!
Thanks again for such a wonderful pet!

Hi Bobbi Jo and Tim. We just wanted to send you a recent picture of Penny. She turns "1" on July 30th. We absolutely adore her! Thanks again for the great work and care you do to spread joy and love to others. We'll send you more photos soon! Love, John, Lori, and Abby
Hi,
I just thought I would let you know how well Kenzie is doing. Her personality is wonderful. She has a way of talking to us and letting us know exactly what she wants. We took her with us on vacation in Boston. She walked all around and we were stopped constantly and told what a good looking dog we had.. Thank you again. Have a great day. Betty
Hey Bobbi Jo, This is Erica, i bought Trevor from you in May. I just wanted to give you an update on how he is doing. He is great, the funniest little bundle of joy i've ever seen. He loves everyone and everyone absolutely adores him. His vet actually said he is the cutest puppy he's seen in a long time and I must say he is very handsome. He gets his last shots tomorrow so he can finally take some nice walks. He's doing great with the house training, only a couple of accidents, he's still tiny! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for giving us such a well adjusted puppy, he's great and we will cherish him for a long time!

Hi Bobbi Jo and Tim.
Jasmine has been part of our family for five weeks now & we cannot imagine life without her. She is a sweet, playful, affectionate, well- behaved puppy. She weights just over 6 pounds now and the vet anticipates that she will end up somewhere in the low teens.
We are so fortunate to have found you. You are wonderful breeders who take care and pride in what you do. Thank you for our wonderful puppy! We could not be happier. Anytime we hear that someone is looking for a dog, we tell them about you.
Hope all is well.

Attached are current pictures of my girl, Zoey. She is 4 1/2 months old and I've had her for about 10 weeks. As you can see she is thriving. She is full of energy and it was all I could do just to get her to be still for a couple of pictures. When Zoey is about 6 months old, I will begin her training, but for now, I am enjoying her puppyness.
I would recommend PPF Farms to anyone who is looking for a healthy puppy. When my vet first saw her, 3 days after I picked her up, he said she was very well cared for. Except for a small cough, which I understand is very common in this situation and easily remedied, she was, and is, in perfect health. Zoey was 4.5 pounds at 9 weeks and she was 6.5 pounds at her last vet visit about 1 month ago. She is a beautiful healthy girl!
From a very satisfied customer, Jeanie
Since losing our other dog, we decided to get a puppy because our aging Rottweiler Roxy was in desperate need of a friend. We wanted to make the right choice for our lifestyle and our Westie has proven to be the most wonderful family member and playmate for Roxy. ICE is quite simply put, a true blessing in our lives. He has the sweetest temperament, the most hilarious antics, and the courage to instigate our grown Rottweiler. It's really hard to describe how special ICE is and how much he means to us.
We laugh at his fluffy head while he tries with all his might to engage Roxy in a chase. His hobbies include chasing soccer balls and trying to lift them off the ground with his teeth (he even does it with basketballs) rolling around in the wet grass, playing with his favorite toy - his Daddy's old baseball cap, and loving literally everyone he meets. It is such a joy having this little gem in our lives!!!!

I am writing to let you know just what a wonderful couple Bobbi Jo and Tim are. I bought my little Tinker from them a couple of days after I lost my best friend in my life. My little Tasha. They had a puppies born the day after Tasha died. She was black and look like Tasha when she was a puppy. Bobbi Jo sent me pictures by email every week. Then I developed some health problems just when she was due to come home. They worked with me and kept her for me for and extra two months. I am so thankful to them. I now have a wonderful little girl that is another puppy from hell as we called Tasha. She does not stop. She is as active as a toddler. We love her to death. She has been the only little angel that has been able to take some of the sorrow away from the loss I experienced last July. It will be her birthday on the 3lst and we will be so thankful to Bobbi Jo and Tim for giving us the little dream. They do breed the greatest puppies. When we bought Tasha she came from a great breeder we had used before. However, that breeder passed away a long time ago so this was a new adventure and we are so thankful we found the right couple. Keep up the good work Bobbi Jo and when we need a sibling for Tinker we will call you. I am sending pictures by mail since my computer will not let me transfer. Thank you again and God bless you for your kindness. Carol and Vern Westfall and Tinker too.
